German Jerry Can Set - Early Type
Originally conceived for use by German forces during WWII, the Jerry Can's design proved to be so good that it was reverse-engineered for use by the Allies. The 20-liter container was tough and compact, allowing them to be easily stowed aboard vehicles. It had a simple but effective lid mechanism with three handles. The early type featured a simple cross-shaped indentation for strength while later types had more complex indentation designs.
